Some times on a camping trip you want more from a meal than something freeze-dried in a bag. There's something about bacon and eggs for example that's hard to beat at the camp site, and that's where this cast iron skillet shines.
Pretty much impervious to anything known to man, a cast iron skillet can make short work of anything you may want to fry up. This one is 8" in diameter, so it's probably smaller than your skillet at home, but it's the right size to use on most camping stoves. And it's not well seasoned and non-stick, so you'll want a spatula and some scour pads to help clean up after a meal.
