There are some operating precautions to pay attention to, as you are dealing with a gas engine, combustible fuel, carbon monoxide, and 120 volt AC current. So you can't let this get wet, but you can't operate it inside a shelter either. We provide a one-sheet usage guide, or find the full operator's manual at
https://cdn.powerequipment.honda.com/pe/pdf/manuals/00X31Z446020.pdfThere will be enough gas in the generator to get it started, but you'll need to take some gas to your event. We have filled 2- and 5-gallon, high quality metal safety cans with a funnel available to add to your order via the above drop-down if you don't have a gas can(s) to fill on your own. The optional extension cord you can add from us is 20' heavy duty 10 gauge, with a tri-receptacle end for multiple power cords. If you take your own cord, should be at least 12 gauge if likely to run the generator anywhere near its capacity output.
