How this works...

We make it easy!

You can pickup our rental gear at our retail store in Tempe for free or we will ship it to you just about anywhere in the US - there are shipping costs, but it will save you from driving around town picking up and returning gear.  Very convenient!

At checkout, you can select among several pickup and drop-off options, and compare delivery costs - all without entering any personal information.

Typical pickup points can include your home, office, hotel or our carrier's pickup point along your way, or sometimes even right to your campground host.

For ship-and-return options, we include a prepaid return label - just swap out these labels and drop off for return shipping after your camping trip.

This tent is ideal for 2 backpackers that want some elbow room, or 3 small-to-average sizzed backpackers looking to minimize space in a pack or at a camp site.  Three big backpackers better be good friends, or consider this model for just 2 of you and add a 2-person tent for the other guy.

It is double-walled - the ventilated tent body as shown in the picture, plus a waterproof cover ("the fly") that goes over it. It is also free-standing (no stakes needed and can be moved around if need be) which can be helpful in real rocky areas.  Doors on each side keep fellow campers from stepping on each other on the way in or out.  If you are car camping, there's no need to pay the extra cost for this tent; rent our 3-person car camping tent instead. The important inside specs include it being about 70" across and about 90"' long, and comes in at about 5 pounds with stakes, stuff sack, etc. Current tent models in this line include those from Near Zero - a lightweight outdoor gear brand based nearby to us here in AZ.

This tent is rated as "Three-Season", but should protect you just fine even in high, cold winds if the fly cover is used and you use the provided stakes. Heavy snows could be a problem if allowed to stack up on top. If you find yourself in a heavy snow one night, you should get up every now and then and brush it off. A few inches shouldn't hurt it.  If you need more protection against high alpine winds and/or heavier snow, rent a true 4-season tent.
