Sawyer Water Filters
Ideal for hiking, camping, hunting, fishing, emergency prep, or traveling abroad, Sawyer's Water Filters ensure access to clean water in the backcountry or anywhere in the world. Rated to 0.1 micron absolute filtration, they remove 99.99999% of all bacteria such as salmonella, cholera, leptospirosis, and e. Coli, and remove 99. 9999% of all protozoa such as giardia and cryptosporidium as well as 100% of microplastics. The Purifier version also clears viruses.
SQUEEZE WATER FILTRATION SYSTEM ($49)
To use, simply fill up the reusable pouch (included on most models) at any water source, screw the filter onto the pouch, and drink directly from the filter or squeeze water into a water bottle. The Squeeze Filter is backed by a manufacturer's limited lifetime warranty. Sawyer individually tests each and every Squeeze Filter three times to performance standards before packaging.
The Squeeze Filter comes in a range of models to fit your needs. The SP129 Personal System comes with two 32-ounce, BPA-free water pouches, while the SP131 Personal comes with three BPA-free water pouches (two 64-ounce, one 16-ounce) for more versatile water storage.

A lightweight, versatile personal filtration system, the second-generation Sawyer MINI Water Filter fits in the palm of your hand and has a total field weight of just 2 ounces. The MINI 0.1 micron absolute filter houses a cluster of micro-fibrous tubes which use similar technology found in medical dialysis. As water passes through the side walls of the tubes, harmful bacteria and protozoa are trapped on the outer walls so you can be confident your water is safe to drink.
Attach it to the included drinking pouch, use the included straw to drink directly from your water source, connect it to hydration pack tubing (sold separately), or screw it onto standard disposable bottles (28mm thread).

These systems combine a proprietary foam membrane in an durable silicone bottle with our 0.1 micron hollow fiber filter at the top — ensuring access to clean water in the backcountry, while you travel, at the office, or for emergencies.
The Foam Adsorption Technology used in these systems was developed with a partnership with Foamulations LLC to now be able to safely remove contaminants like heavy metals, chemicals, pesticides, and viruses while also improving taste and odor. Adsorption filtration is the process in which molecules adhere to the surface of the adsorbent foam membrane. This highly advanced filtration and purification process, combined with one of our 0.1 micron absolute filter (purchased separately) will ensure that any and all particulate or pathogens above 0.1 microns are filtered out of your water, including bacteria, protozoa, cysts, dirt and sediment.
