Renting camping and backpacking gear for Bryce Canyon National Park allows you to explore southern Utah’s high-elevation hoodoo formations without investing in equipment you may only use occasionally. Whether arriving by air or traveling by road through the Southwest, renting helps match your gear to seasonal temperatures and route difficulty. LowerGear supports nationwide travelers with professionally cleaned and prepared outdoor rental equipment delivered to your chosen destination.
See All Rental GearOur rental inventory includes backpacking tents, cold-rated sleeping bags, technical packs, hydration systems, camp cooking equipment, lighting, and navigation tools. Brands commonly included across our fleet include Marmot, MSR, Deuter, and Leki. All gear is professionally cleaned, inspected, and prepared prior to shipment.
North Campground and Sunset Campground provide established sites within the park and are accessible to major viewpoints and trailheads. Due to the park’s elevation, nighttime temperatures can drop significantly even during warmer months.
The Navajo Loop and Queen’s Garden Trail descend into the main amphitheater, offering close views of hoodoo formations. The Rim Trail provides relatively level walking between scenic overlooks. Backcountry routes such as the Under-the-Rim Trail require permits and additional preparation.
Bryce Canyon sits at elevations above 8,000 feet. Spring and fall can bring cool mornings and variable weather, while winter conditions may include snow and ice. Layered clothing and appropriately rated sleeping gear are important considerations.
Select your rental gear online and choose dates that allow sufficient transit time. Rental days are not charged while gear is in transit. See the video below for additional shipping details.
