Whether you need a full backpacking setup or just a few missing items, LowerGear can ship high-quality gear directly to your home or preferred delivery location before your trip.

 Most Triple Crown Treks participants choose the 7-day rental option to fully cover travel and trek dates.

Tent Sharing & Campsite Logistics

To help minimize campsite impact and comply with campsite size limitations along the trail, Triple Crown Treks may coordinate shared tent arrangements for certain trips.

The standard Triple Crown Treks rental package includes a lightweight 2-person backpacking tent to allow flexibility for shared campsite setups if needed. Participants who rent tents should still reserve the standard package that best fits their needs.

Tent assignments and any shared shelter arrangements will be coordinated by Triple Crown Treks during the pre-trip orientation. Depending on group size and logistics, some participants may share tents, and unused rental tents can remain securely at the accommodation during the trek.

We encourage flexibility and a team-oriented mindset — shared shelters are a normal part of backpacking and thru-hiking culture.
