If you don’t have all the gear you need for your camping trip to Utah Lake State Park, rent our camping gear online and have it delivered right to your home or convenient pickup point along the way. Utah Lake State Park is a state park in west Provo, Utah, United States. The park is located at the west end of Provo Center Street on the east shore of Utah Lake (the largest fresh water lake in the state) immediately northwest of the Provo Municipal Airport.
Utah Lake is a large freshwater lake that is popular for boating, water sports and fishing. Canoeing is popular on the lower Provo River, where it enters the lake. The park here offers very nice campsites and picnic areas.
If you are a first-time camper, an overnight trip into Utah Lake State Park is a great way to get started – it’s probably close by, and the staff is used to advising families out on their first trip. Free, unisex shower stalls are accessible on the outside of the restrooms.
