Here’s some information you may find useful before your trip (sourced from Wikipedia and other research):

Pacific Beach State Park is a public recreation area in Grays Harbor County, Washington. The 17-acre state park offers 2,300 feet of Pacific Ocean beachfront and activities that include picnicking, camping, fishing, swimming, clam digging, and beachcombing. This small camping park northwest of Aberdeen features waterfront tent sites, yurts and RV hookups, so the fun doesn't have to end at sundown. Make a small fire on the beach (be sure it's more than 100 feet from vegetation), roast up some s'mores and watch the evening sky turn blue and then black with stars - or gray with storm clouds.

If you are a first-time camper, an overnight trip into Pacific Beach State Park is a great way to get started – it’s probably close by, and the staff is used to advising families out on their first trip. We make it easy to rent gear as well if you are aren’t sure what to take – check out our camping gear packages for easy shopping. Just add food and water!

The park has 20 standard campsites, 41 partial-hookup sites, two yurts, one dump station, two restrooms and six showers. Twenty-six sites are on the waterfront but are unshaded. All hookup sites offer electricity only and are back-in only. Maximum site length is 60 feet. The dump station offers fresh water for RV holding tanks. No campfires or portable fire pits permitted in the campground. Charcoal and propane barbecues are permitted.
