Grayland Beach State Park is a public recreation area on the Pacific Ocean covering 581 acres along the southern edge of the census-designated community of Grayland in Pacific County, Washington. The state park offers camping, hiking, fishing, clamming, and beachcombing. Friendly and popular with families and RV enthusiasts, Grayland Beach offers a seaside vacation, Northwest-style, for summer play and peaceful walks in the off-seasons. Several trails leave from the beach loop campground and lead you through gentle grassy dunes and wind-bent shore pines to the Pacific.
If you are a first-time camper, an overnight trip into Grayland Beach State Park is a great way to get started – it’s probably close by, and the staff is used to advising families out on their first trip. Grayland Beach State Park is a 581-acre, year-round, marine camping park with 7,449 feet of spectacular ocean frontage, just south of the town of Grayland. The park attracts kite flyers, observers and people wanting a day at the beach. The park offers campsites and yurts within walking distance of the ocean.
