Here’s some information you may find useful before your trip (sourced from Wikipedia and other research):

Conconully State Park is a 97-acre public recreation area located at the north end of Conconully Reservoir in the town of Conconully, Okanogan County, Washington. The park originated with the completion of the Conconully Dam in 1910, and came under the aegis of the Washington State Parks system in 1945. A replica courthouse cabin and the bell from the school that once stood in the park are found on the grounds. The park has 5,400 feet of shoreline and facilities for camping, boating, and picnicking.

If you are a first-time camper, an overnight trip into Conconully State Park is a great way to get started – it’s probably close by, and the staff is used to advising families out on their first trip. We make it easy to rent gear as well if you are aren’t sure what to take – check out our camping gear packages for easy shopping. Just add food and water!

Fish from two lakes: the lower Conconully Reservoir, on which the park sits, and the Upper Conconully Reservoir, known as Salmon Lake. Catch smallmouth bass, rainbow trout and Kokanee, or rig up your waterskiing line, and take the kids for a spin. After a day of fishing, swimming, watersports and horseshoes, there will be time to relax in your campsite. Let the kids play on the springy grass fields and in the play area. Pitch your tent or hook up your RV in a welcoming campground, or rent one of five charming cabins near the lower reservoir.
