Squilchuck State Park is a public recreation area located below Mission Ridge eight miles south of Wenatchee in Chelan County, Washington. The 249-acre state park offers hiking, mountain biking and cross-country ski trails, group camping, birdwatching, and wildlife viewing. The park's Squilchuck Lodge is used for group gatherings.ore than 10 miles of mountain bike trails fan out from a single group campground. Within minutes, you’ll find yourself careening around corners and pedaling into the hills, where wild bike rides await. Ride along Mission Ridge Road or out to the Wheeler Reservoir for a more rugged day.

If you are a first-time camper, an overnight trip into Squilchuck State Park is a great way to get started – it’s probably close by, and the staff is used to advising families out on their first trip. Squilchuck State Park is a 249-acre park located 9 miles south of Wenatchee. Its high desert hills are covered with forests of fir and ponderosa pine. The park sits below Mission Ridge at an elevation of 3,200 feet.The group camp is made up of 20 campsites, for a minimum of 25 people. Balconies and outdoor picnic tables make it a charming indoor-outdoor venue in summer. The Squilchuck Lodge, originally built in the 1950s, is not ADA compliant.
