We offer top-quality, lightweight sleeping bags from Sierra Designs, Kelty, Marmot, Alps Mountaineering , and others. All sleeping bags are recent models in brand new or virtually new condition. Everything is cleaned after each rental in my home front-loader washer – it will be cleaner than the linens at most hotels. Here’s me in action. Lot's of fun.
For starters, select either the backpacking or car-camping series, based on your planned trip. Some bags work either way, so are listed in both categories, but generally the backpacking series bags are lighter. From there, select the bag that best matches the nighttime temperature you expect. There are bag options within each category for different weather, kids, and tall guys. We also carry offer an ultralight bag liner for rent to add warmth to one of our other bags or to use by itself on hot summer nights. See the product description section for more details. Then be sure to rent a mattress pad – you’ll kick yourself on your trip if you try to save a few bucks and go without one.
